Description
The Suhala lamp is crafted from wicker, skillfully hand-woven onto a plastic bottle. This combination guarantees a stunning effect as the warm light shines through the carefully braided wicker, casting a charming and delightful ambiance in the illuminated room.
Every lamp is a unique piece, entirely crafted by hand—from the precise cutting of plastic bottles using scissors to the meticulous hand-weaving of the wicker. The coloring of the fibers and all electrical installations are also manually handled by our skilled kokoi artisans.
This labor-intensive process, depending on the lamp's size and complexity, can take several days to ensure impeccable quality.
Each lamp is assembled with a ceiling rosette, an electrical cord, and a light bulb, ready for hassle-free installation.
The procedure
The lamp manufacturing process is entirely manual.
It begins with the identification and marking of the plastic bottles that will form the lamp's core.
Following this, the plastic bottles are skillfully cut using scissors.
The resulting plastic strips form the foundation for the meticulous attachment of pre-colored wicker, creating an exceptional design element.
