Last year we embarked on an adventure that led us to the magnificent lamps we see before us today.
Our lamp project started as a vision that was to become reality.
Our commitment to sustainability and our admiration for the craftsmanship of the women we work with are the driving forces behind our project.
It wasn't an easy journey, however, as each lamp we created required careful thought and planning.
But before we could start production, we had to deal intensively with all aspects.
We had to choose the right materials, determine the perfect shape and size for our lamps, and also design new tools to cut and shape each individual lamp.
But when we were finally ready to begin, infinite possibilities unfolded before us. We learned new techniques and honed our skills to create true masterpieces from wicker and rolled organic cotton.
That hard work has paid off as now, in March 2023, we proudly present our first two lamp collections: the Northwest collection, where each willow fiber is hand-assembled onto a precision-cut plastic bottle, and the Augsburg collection, where we carefully roll organic cotton onto natural willow fibers and then assemble them onto the bottles by hand.
It's been a long road and we're very proud of what we've achieved. But we also know that the best is yet to come and that there will be many more collections and products to be just as proud of.
